40 Days of an Intentional and Specific Covenant with Consciousness
By Brooke Ranvek
December 27th, 2024

Today is anything but typical, and honestly, I’m okay with that. I’m not feeling 100% like myself. The funny thing is, most people would say they’re “sick.” But I say I’m healthy—my immune system is doing its job. I know I’ve indulged in too much sugar this week, and I’m proud of every choice I made because it was fun, and I don’t have any regrets.

That said, I’m reminded of how, in the past, I would get sick every time I pushed myself to the max in pursuit of perfection. Anxiety would hit me so hard that I’d end up sick, just so I could rest and recover. It’s wild to think that the only way I allowed myself to relax back then was through anxiety—fight, flight, or freeze.

I first started recognizing this pattern while attending mastery school. The school focused on healing my DNA generationally—six years forward and six years back. Part of the program was experiencing for ourselves the work we’d eventually provide for others. I remember getting sick right before my deep DNA-shifting session with my coach.

The crazy thing about those sessions was how much healing they required afterward. Over the course of a year, we were given four 90-minute sessions, spaced out every three months. Each session would stir things up on a cellular level, bringing buried emotions to the surface. It took a deep commitment to healing through self-love and self-care to fully process each one.

Recognizing and shifting our patterns takes a serious level of commitment. Fast forward to today, it’s 4:20 p.m., and I’m still on the couch. But I’m okay with it. I’ve been watching some amazing podcasts on health, especially women’s health for those 40 and older. It’s fascinating how different our needs are at this stage of life. I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to watch so many long podcasts before, but I’m genuinely excited that I did.

Meanwhile, the dishes from last night are still out, the laundry—both clean and dirty—is piling up, and I haven’t moved my body or done any of the things that usually make me feel content and accomplished. What excites me, though, is that my definition of success has evolved. It’s no longer about how much I achieve, but rather how much I honor my body and prioritize my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Even so, there’s a small part of me that worries I’ll feel behind tomorrow or be frustrated with myself for not doing more today. When those feelings of fake fear arise, I’ve learned to fully feel them and respond with “so what?” or even “good.” While my expectations of myself and my time still influence my mood, I know the truth: I have the freedom to flow with my energy. And when I flow with love and embrace my energy as it is, I feel aligned with what I truly desire.

I feel good, happy, and healthy that I chose to document this day. It shows the power and rewards of this 40-day covenant with Consciousness. Now, I’m going to make myself a delicious smoothie with fresh lemon and juiced ginger. I can already feel the energy waiting for me on the other side of that smoothie.

How kind are you to yourself when you’re not “on your game”? How would you like to treat yourself when things don’t go as expected? For me, as a high achiever, it’s critical to transform judgment into self-love and curiosity.

Bye for now,

Generational Healing: Soul Work That Reconnects You with Yourself

The reflection shared in my journal isn’t just about self-care—it’s about soul work, the deep, transformative process of remembering who we are beneath the layers of conditioning, expectations, and generational patterns.

Women, especially, have long carried the weight of societal and familial responsibilities, often sacrificing their own well-being to fulfill their roles as caretakers, nurturers, and achievers. Over time, this self-neglect becomes ingrained, passed down through generations, and encoded in our DNA.

When we talk about healing at this level, we’re not just addressing physical health. We’re diving into the core of our soul’s journey—a journey that invites us to reconnect with our authentic selves, rewrite the narratives we’ve inherited, and align with the truth of who we are.

The Burden of Generations and the Call to Heal

The trauma we inherit isn’t our fault, but healing it is our responsibility. Generational trauma is stored in our DNA as unresolved emotions, beliefs, and survival mechanisms. These patterns, while originally protective, often hinder us today. By addressing them, we free ourselves from cycles of limitation and pain, paving the way for future generations to thrive.

In my own experience, the DNA healing sessions I undertook were profound acts of soul work. Each session unearthed deeply buried trauma—not just my own, but that of my lineage. It’s why a single 90-minute session required three months of integration. The emotional, physical, and spiritual shifts were immense, demanding time, patience, and unwavering self-love to fully process.

Through this work, I began to realize that our greatest struggles often hold the keys to our deepest purpose. Healing isn’t just about feeling better; it’s about uncovering the gifts hidden within our pain.

The Beauty Code Way: A Foundation for Soul Healing

The Beauty Code Way is rooted in this understanding. It’s designed to prepare women for the intense but rewarding process of generational healing by creating a foundation of self-awareness, self-compassion, and connection. The program guides women to shift their focus from external achievement to internal alignment, making space for the soul to emerge.

When we commit to this process, we begin to heal not just ourselves but our lineage. The trauma that once held us back becomes a source of insight and empowerment. The very patterns we struggle with reveal our unique purpose, reminding us of who we are at our core.

This is why I emphasize that healing is a responsibility but also a gift. It allows us to remember who we are and to reconnect with our authentic power.

Healing Through Belief and Connection

True healing begins with our beliefs. When we choose to believe in our inherent worth, in our ability to change, and in the transformative power of love, we begin to rewrite the stories embedded in our cells. The Beauty Code Way helps women reclaim their narrative, transforming judgment into self-love and curiosity.

This soul work is not easy. It surfaces pain and discomfort, but it’s through this discomfort that we find our strength. As we heal, we reconnect with our intuition, align with our purpose, and remember who we’ve always been.

An Invitation to Remember Yourself

As I reflect on my 40-day covenant with Consciousness, I invite you to consider your own healing journey. What patterns are you ready to release? How can you begin to treat yourself with the love and compassion you deserve?

Generational healing is the work of the soul. It’s an act of remembering who you are and stepping into the fullness of your purpose. Through this process, you’ll not only heal yourself but also contribute to the healing of your lineage and the world.

With love,
Brooke Ranvek
